We are God's handiwork and He works on us, shapes us and moulds us to be like Jesus. Mark talks about how God does this in our lives so that we can do good works - good works that aren't the cause of our salvation, but the product of our salvation. He challenges us not to shrink back from the things that God has given us to do and the gifts He has given us to use for His glory.
