We often sing and talk about Jesus as king, but what is he king of? Old Testament prophetic promises pointed towards a new king who would establish a new kingdom of righteousness, peace, joy and love. A kingdom that would reign forever. One that would reverse the curse of sin. This kingdom isn't a piece of holy land, a political group or military might, but wherever the rule and reign of God is established on earth in and through His people. Jesus is king of this kingdom and our citizenship as followers of Jesus is now in Him and His heavenly kingdom. Joe looks at Jesus' rule and reign, and the privileges, rights, responsibilities and priorities of our citizenship in heaven right now as we live our lives on this earth.
