“Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.” Elisha prayed and his servant saw the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. When we are daunted by life we need eyes of faith to see what God is doing. Renovations of our building, which require finance, church planting in the Halifax region, and other situations we face in our lives regarding sickness, trials, and obstacles, can be viewed through fear, or with eyes of faith in Jesus.
Joe talks about the prayer from Ephesians 1:17-19 as a New Testament equivalent of the prayer of Elisha, that God would open our eyes to who Jesus is, that we would get to know him better, and face the challenges before us with faith in Jesus.
