When we follow Jesus and are on mission with Him, there will be storms. The disciples experience this, but Jesus uses their experience to address their faith in Him. It's all about getting them ready to take territory for Jesus, to spread the good news. We're in a battle because Satan does not want us to obey God's call. Are we followers of Jesus or are we expecting Jesus to follow our own agenda? Are we willing to follow Him into the storms for the saving of many lives? Mark encourages us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we experience these challenges.
