Christ Central Church Fredericton, New Brunswick, has begun planting in the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia area. Several families have come together, trusting God for the next steps.
Dartmouth, part of the Halifax Regional Municipality, lies across the harbor from downtown Halifax. Historically one of the least affluent areas in the HRM, it has seen recent regeneration. Just over half of its population identifies as Christian (predominantly Catholic), while many profess no religion. The community also includes Sikh and Muslim residents.
We aspire to cultivate a diverse, interdependent community united in worshipping Jesus. Dartmouth's motto, "Through Friendship We Grow", reflects a desire for friendship and understanding among different nations and backgrounds. We aim to support this vision, recognizing that its true fulfillment is found in Christ.
