God is concerned about the very practical, everyday things in our daily lives. Many people in the land in Nehemiah's time were hungry and being exploited. There were issues that the people had to address as they sought to line up with God's word. Joe talks about how we face many of the same issues today and how God calls us to be stewards of the resources He has given us, to respond with obedience and action when He speaks and to be accountable to others. All of this comes from a heart response to what Jesus has done for us, receiving help from the Holy Spirit.
