In Joshua 7, the people of Israel experience a setback as Achan gives in to the temptation to take what God had forbidden. His sin was bad news for all of the Israelites and had to be dealth with. We are all like Achan, prone to become devoted to things other than God. Joe encourages us to confess our sins to each other and receive forgiveness for which Jesus paid the price, and to be satisfied in God so we don't give in to the temptation to be devoted to other things.
