In the letter to the Galatians, Paul addresses some misconceptions that the church had about the message of salvation. There was some false teaching that believers needed to act in a certain way to be saved. Things were being added to the gospel. The same can creep in to the church today. Joe addresses the way we can slip into thinking we earn our salvation by something we do, because our culture, even church culture, expects certain behaviour from us. He encourages us that Christ alone is our salvation.
