Joe borrows an explanation from Tim Keller to help unpack this passage in Galatians. He explains that the ‘Rule Following’, ‘Santa Claus', and ‘Self-Salvation’ types of people are actually different forms of slavery. Continuing, he says that as Christians, we need to be 'law obeying, but not law relying'. We need Jesus' help to live this out!
