The Israelites had to camp by the river Jordan for three days while it is in flood before crossing. They found their helplessness and realised their complete dependance on God. God wants us to trust Him to do what only He can do. We may be facing very real trials and impossible situations, but God wants us to fix our eyes on Him and trust that He will do what He has promised, as we step into all that God is calling us to. Mark encourages us that we have a great High Priest - Jesus - who stands in the gap for us.
