Paul has a massive vision from God for the church which causes him to get on his knees and pray. He imagines some pretty incredible things happening but he then states that God can do even more than we can ask or imagine. What we can and do pray is almost too small a thing for God - and it's all according to God's power at work in us. God's power works through what we do and say. Mark encourages us to focus on God and, with that perspective, pray for God to fulfil His promises and to work mightily as we step out in faith as participants in what God is doing.
